The BD 192cm Gravity Blood Set is designed for the gravity administration of blood and blood components within professional healthcare environments. It forms part of the BD® range of gravity administration sets and provides a sterile, single-use configuration for appropriate transfusion procedures.

The set has a total length of 192cm, comprising 180cm of tubing, providing sufficient line length for use within a range of clinical environments. It features an unvented spike for connection to compatible blood containers.

A rotating Luer-Lock connection provides a secure connection to compatible equipment while allowing convenient positioning of the administration line. The set also incorporates a roller clamp, enabling manual regulation of flow during gravity administration.

The blood set includes a 200-micron blood filter within the drip chamber, designed to support appropriate filtration during blood administration. The set has a 14ml priming volume and uses transparent PVC tubing to allow the fluid pathway to remain visible during use.

The device is supplied sterile and is intended for single use within professional healthcare environments such as hospitals, clinics and other appropriate clinical settings where gravity blood administration is performed.
