BD Microtainer® Serum Tubes with Separating Gel and UV Protection are designed for the collection and processing of small-volume capillary or venous blood samples. Supplied in a pack of 50, these compact collection tubes are suitable for professional healthcare and laboratory environments where smaller specimen volumes are required.

Each tube incorporates a separating gel to support the preparation of serum specimens following appropriate collection and centrifugation. The tube also features UV protection, providing additional protection for specimens where exposure to ultraviolet light needs to be limited during handling and processing.

A practical fill-level marker is incorporated into the tube design, helping users collect the appropriate volume of blood for the tube configuration. This provides a clear visual reference during collection and supports consistent specimen handling when working with small blood volumes.
