3ml BD A-Line Blood Collection Syringe Slip Tip | Product Description

The 3ml BD A-Line™ Blood Collection Syringe Slip Tip is a sterile, single-use blood collection syringe designed for manual aspiration of arterial or venous blood samples in professional healthcare environments. Supplied without a needle, it is intended for controlled blood collection from arterial lines, IV lines, or other compatible clinical procedures.

Each syringe contains spray-dried, calcium-balanced lithium heparin, providing a consistent anticoagulant coating for blood sample collection. The 3ml capacity offers flexibility when a larger sample volume is required, while the slip tip connection enables compatibility with appropriate clinical accessories and collection techniques.

Designed for use in critical care, emergency medicine, operating theatres, and laboratory settings, the BD A-Line™ syringe supports efficient blood sample collection as part of routine clinical practice. The transparent barrel features clear graduation markings to assist with accurate sample measurement and handling.

The syringe is supplied with a green BD Hemogard™ cap, designed to provide an airtight, leak-resistant seal during transport and handling of collected samples. The green cap also allows quick visual identification of the lithium heparin additive, helping support efficient workflows in busy healthcare environments.

Manufactured by BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), the syringe is produced to high medical manufacturing standards and is individually sterile packaged for single-patient use. It is intended for use by trained healthcare professionals in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local clinical guidelines.
