18g 32mm Green BD Venflon Pro Safety Cannula with Injection Port | Product Description

The BD Venflon Pro Safety Cannula 18g 32mm with Injection Port is a single-use peripheral intravenous cannula designed for vascular access in clinical and healthcare environments. This device combines a familiar ported cannula design with integrated safety features to support controlled handling during insertion and disposal.

The cannula includes an automatic needle shielding mechanism that activates after use, enclosing the needle within the device. The injection port features a snap-cap design that supports non-touch handling and helps reduce the risk of the port being left open during routine use. The ported configuration allows access for compatible connectors in accordance with local protocols.

Flexible stabilisation wings are incorporated into the cannula body to support positioning and securement following placement. The ergonomically shaped grip is designed to support different user handling techniques during insertion. The catheter is colour coded green for easy gauge identification and uses standard ISO connections for compatibility with common IV accessories.
